Using Rasch analysis to examine raters’ expertise Turkish teacher candidates’ competency levels in writing different types of test items

The aim of the present study was to examine Turkish teacher candidates’ competency levels in writing different types test items by utilizing Rasch analysis. In addition, effect expertise raters scoring written candidates examined within scope study. 84 participated study, which conducted using relational survey model, one quantitative research methods. Three experts rating process: an expert education, measurement and evaluation, both education evaluation. wrote true-false, short response, multiple choice open-ended accordance with Test Item Development Form, scored each item type designating a score between 1 5 based on evaluation rubric prepared for type. revealed that had highest level true-false items, while they lowest multiple-choice items. Moreover, it raters’ competencies Finally, found rater who reliability, solely relatively reliability.
